In terms of rates, expect to spend under $150 per night at the Holiday Inn Express. This is good considering the average cost of a hotel in downtown Atlanta is $175. The Holiday Inn also has some of the most affordable parking rates at $15/night. Wifi and breakfast are free. There is a small gym, but no pool. All in all a good choice for those that want a name brand hotel at an impeccable location. The MARTA station is within three blocks of the hotel which is nestled into an office park. Wifi is free, so is breakfast and parking. Despite being an older hotel guests are often content with the cleanness. The hotel provides a shuttle to the MARTA station if you encounter rain. There are several ethinic restaurants that have been spoken highly of between the hotel and the MARTA.

Hyatt Place Near Buckhead MARTA – Why People Like It – Buckhead is an urban satellite hub north of Midtown Atlanta. The high rise neighborhood includes many hotels as well as a plethora of restaurants and nightlife options within walking distance to the MARTA station. Buckhead doesn’t offer much savings over staying at a hotel in downtown Atlanta or Midtown. The best hotel in Buckhead within walking distance to the MARTA is the Hyatt Place. Mostly this is the best hotel because it is the only hotel where parking is free. Rates here average $170 on weekdays and drop by below $120 on weekends. Breakfast and wifi is also free.
Best Hotel Near In Midtown (Arts Center)
Artmore Near Arts Center MARTA – Why People Like It – North of downtown is called Midtown. There are two boutique hotels that stand out as good options to impress a loved one depending on your preferences. The first is Georgian Terrace. This hotel is known for its rooftop pool and excellent views of downtown. This is more of a historic boutique hotel. Rates here average $184 on weekdays, and rise to over $200 on weekends. This hotel is often a popular destination for weddings. Travelers who want a prime location in Midtown blocks away from the MARTA should look into the Artmore (picture to the right). Aside from having and outstanding number of positive reviews the Artmore is the most affordable hotel in Midtown. Rates here average $130 to $140. Unfortunately, breakfast and parking is not included. All together Midtown has some options for boutique hotels. But, there isn’t much savings over downtown.

Hotel Indigo Near ATL Airport – Why People Like It – There is only one hotel that is within walking distance to a MARTA station near the airport. That is Hotel Indigo near the College Park MARTA station. This station is one station north of the airport terminal station. Guests at Hotel Indigo can take advantage of a free shuttle that takes guests to and from the airport. This makes it the only hotel possible to get a free lift from the airport and be within walking distance to a MARTA station. Rates hover around $130 on weekdays and drop to $100 on weekends.
